How do I confirm what NGP keypad version I have?
Answer
To check the keypad version to see if it will work with the attached external reader:
- Log in as the service user using the keypad (tamper switch open).
- Select Config menu.
- Change from S to M (press <6> key twice), and then press <OK>.
- Scroll to the serial number of the keypad in question. You might need to back out to M002 or M003 and so on until you find the desired keypad serial number.
- Press <OK>.
- Press the middle <?> key.
The keypad should now show the keypad module type LCD Plus or LCD ExtRd.
