Why does the alarm monitoring map shows locked/unlocked icon for Mercury hardware whereas for NGP hardware does not?

The reader icon on your map can be configured to shows its hardware state using different icons.
For Mercury hardware 'locked' is an access mode, whereas for NGP 'locked' is its status. The alarm monitoring maps shows access mode. This is why a Mercury reader icon is 'stable'.

The NGP reader icon doesn't show the access mode. The NGP reader icon change its state as result user command.
After next reader the access mode update the map shows the mode for the reader - e.g. 'pin or card'.
