SoapFault error 405 - Method Not Allowed

Symptom

Error shown when trying to run web-based Area Access Manager:
[SoapFault_EmptyResponse_Message] HTTP 405 - Method Not Allowed
 

Resolution

Check in the properties of Lnl.OG.WebService > Properties > Virtual Directory > Configuration. If either ASPX or ASMX are not listed, it can cause the 405 error. If missing, click [Add] and add the missing application mapping.
