How to upgrade firmware on a Lantronix CoBox Micro
Procedure Steps
To upgrade firmware on a Lantronix CoBox Micro loaded with firmware version 5.5 or older, do the following:
1) Download the new firmware file from Lantronix website (http://www.lantronix.com/). Save the .rom file in a location that is easy to access (such as C:\ or C:\Cobox).
2) Click the Start button, then select Run.
3) Type cmd and then click [OK].
4) Navigate to the directory that contains the new firmware.
5) Type the following and then press <Enter>:
tftp -i <cobox micro's IP> put <flash filename>.rom 3M
6) Type the following and then press <Enter>:
tftp -i <cobox micro's IP> put <firmware filename>.rom 4M
