How to configure Lenel services to restart on failure
Procedure Steps
1) Open Windows Services. To do this: click the Start button, then select Run.2) In the Run dialog box type services.msc and click [OK].
3) In the Services window, locate the Lenel service you wish to modify. Most Lenel services are prefaced with LS.
4) Right-click the service and select Properties.
5) Select the Recovery tab.
6) Set the First failure drop-down box to be "Restart the Service".
7) Set the Second failure drop-down box to be "Restart the Service".
8) Set the Subsequent failures field to "Take No Action".
9) Click [OK].
The next time the service fails to start it will try to restart twice before failing.
