How to configure directory security for OnGuard ClickOnce Web sites in Internet Information Services
Procedure Steps
1) From the Start menu, select Run. To launch IIS Manager, type inetmgr in the Open field, then click [OK].For Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, follow steps 2-8 below.
2) Under the local computer entry, expand Web Sites.
3) Right-click on either the KioskClickOnce or FrontDeskClickOnce virtual directory, then select Properties.
4) Select the Directory Security tab, then click [Edit] in the Anonymous access and authentication control section.
5) Ensure that Anonymous access and Integrated Windows authentication are selected.
6) Click [OK] to save the change, and then [OK] again to exit Web Site Properties.
7) Repeat steps 2-6 if you want to change another virtual directory.
8) Restart IIS, then restart the LS Application Server service.
For Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, follow steps 9-11 below.
9) In the IIS Manager window, for either the KioskClickOnce or FrontDeskClickOnce virtual directory, double-click Authentication.
10) Ensure that Anonymous Authentication and Integrated Windows authentication are both set to Enabled.
11) Restart the IIS services, then restart the LS Application Server service if any changes were made.
