BlueDiamond readers do not work with DESFire cards. This impacts BlueDiamond readers sold prior to third quarter 2018.
Answer
Earlier manufactured BlueDiamond readers with firmware DEV_17 would not work with DESFire pre-programmed cards bought from LenelS2. Later models are being shipped with DEV_30 firmware which will correctly read the DESFire EV1/EV2 programmed cards.
You will know if this is the issue if performing a SCPdebug and the output it 56 bit. Configuration cards can now be ordered from Inside Sales.
