LNL-2220/3300 stuck in power cycle loop

Symptom

LNL-2220/3300 is stuck in power cycle loop.

Resolution

If you experience a LNL-2220 or LNL-3300 that appears stuck in a power cycle loop, you should verify the following:
  • What is the LED pattern?
  • What is the version of firmware?
We have come across a situation where the panels will appear to be powering up, but then:
  1. LEDs 1 and TMP will flash for several seconds.
  2. All LEDs turn off.
  3. Panel boot cycle begins.
  4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 again.
We have seen this scenario with panels were running firmware 1.143 that were then downgraded to a version of firmware earlier than 1.143.

If you experience these symptoms, then the only solution is to send the panel in for RMA. The manufacturer of the panel has updated the firmware in newer versions, so this symptom should exist only in firmware 1.143 and earlier.
