Symptom
In System Administration, on the Administration > System Options > General System Options tab, after entering a workstation name into the Linkage Server Host field, and selecting [OK], the field automatically adds either the entire fully qualified domain name to the workstation name (if less than 15 characters), or a portion of the fully qualified domain name (if more than 15 characters).
To resolve the issue, modify the workstation name on the Workstations tab to reflect the workstation name without the domain suffix information.
Resolution
This issue may occur if a workstation exists in System Administration on the Administration > Workstations > Workstations tab, and the name of that workstation contains the fully qualified domain name.To resolve the issue, modify the workstation name on the Workstations tab to reflect the workstation name without the domain suffix information.
