How to run the Daylight Savings Time Utility
Procedure Steps
This utility should be run for OnGuard 5.10.309 or earlier.Important: Run the Windows Daylight Savings Time patch on the database server first.
SQL Database
1) Open the LNLCONFIG table.
2) Modify the LNLSTRING from 5.9.131 to 5.09.131.
3) Run the Lenel DST Patch according to the instructions provided with the patch.
4) Modify the LNLSTRING from 5.09.131 to 5.9.131
5) Restart All LS Services
MSDE Database
1) Start the AccessDB tool [OnGuard Directory] and connect to the AccessControl database.
2) Run the following query using SQL Statement
UPDATE lnlconfig SET lnlstring='5.09.131' WHERE lnlconfigid=9
3) Run Lenel DST Patch according to the instructions provided with the patch.
4) Run the following query using SQL Statement in AccessDB
UPDATE lnlconfig SET lnlstring='5.9.131' WHERE lnlconfigid=9
5) Restart All LS Services.
