How to address devices connected to the LNL-8000

How to address devices connected to the LNL-8000

Procedure Steps

Configuration of the device address is done in System Administration.

1) Configure the port for the device. This is the port number on the ISC that the LNL-8000 is connected to.

2) Set the address. This should be the same address that has been set with the jumpers or DIP switches.

The LNL-8000 will not appear in Alarm Monitoring or in System Administration, only the connected devices will be shown after it has been configured.

The LNL-8000 does not allow more devices to be added to a port than what can be configured. The purpose is having a central point for wiring. So it is not necessary to wire to each device and then go on to wire the next device. Each device can be wired to the LNL-8000 for easier handling.
