Symptom
During Replication, if you notice that ID's are not being allocated, you can try to manually allocate the ID's. If manual ID allocation fails, you may see errors similar to the following:
Device Initialization failed: Winsock failure WSAStartup returned.
Resolution
Check the FAILEDRPC table and resolve all entries in the table. Once all entries are resolved, restart linkage and ID allocation services.
