Symptom
Alarm Shunt Relay doesn’t stay active for higher values of door held open time
Resolution
There is no resolution. The reason is while the door held open time can be set to higher value (max 65,534 seconds), the maximum time for shunt relay to activate is 254 seconds.
This is due to the door held time being managed at the controller level but the shunt relay activation time needs to be passed down to the Reader board which uses a smaller data structure to store this time.
