Restoring Databases Through SQL

Procedure Steps

Stop all FCWnx services.
Open SQL Server Management Studio and expand the Databases folder.
Right-click on the database you want to restore.
Go to Tasks > Restore, and click on Database.
Set the source to "from device" then click on the ellipse button.
Click the Add button and browse to the backup you would like to restore. Click OK twice.
The select the backup sets to restore box should now be populated with the backup you selected. Check the box next to it.
In the left-hand pane, click on Options.
Check the box next to Overwrite existing database (with REPLACE).
For both the DAT and the log entry, click on the ellipse button and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\GE\FCWnx\Database.
Click OK to start the restore process.
