Question
NGP area arming with delay, but "Armed On" alarm comes immediately
Answer
Assume NGP area is configured for exit delay 60 seconds.
Arm this area from Alarm Monitoring or keypad - status of the area will be "Armed ... Exiting ..."
But alarm "Armed On" comes immediately in Alarm Monitoring.
This is how the system is designed:
The reality is that once you commit to arming, the majority of the points in the area are immediately armed. Only specific points (Entry Points and Entry Route Points) participate in the Entry/Exit delays, but the overall area is considered to be armed.
