Symptom
During installation of OnGuard, you may encounter the following error:
"Error 1904. Module lnrJpCap.dll failed to register."
1) Click the Start button, then select Run.
2) Type the following command in the Open field.
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Lenel\lnrJpCap.dll"
3) Click [OK]. A confirmation dialog should appear indicating the file was registered successfully.
"Error 1904. Module lnrJpCap.dll failed to register."
Resolution
This error occurs when a DLL for a project-specific DVR attempts to load and cannot. For typical Lenel DVR installations, this error can be safely ignored. The following procedure to allow the special JnPng DVR to operate properly only needs to be executed if the JnPng DVR is installed on your system. Note that the JnPng DVR is not supported for general use.1) Click the Start button, then select Run.
2) Type the following command in the Open field.
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Lenel\lnrJpCap.dll"
3) Click [OK]. A confirmation dialog should appear indicating the file was registered successfully.
