Readers Not Sending Information To Alarm Monitor (2RP and HID Weigand Readers)

Symptom

Readers are not sending information to the alarm monitor on 2RP board with HID readers Wiegand format.

Resolution

HID uses 5 volt Data. Set the 2RP for 5 VDC.
If using an external power supply, connect (-) from the external power supply to Pin 2 (Common) on the 2RP board.
