Symptom
Resolution
After upgrading to OnGuard 5.12.110 or later, with new ISC firmware 3.099 or later, some access panels may display a "Panel Free Memory Low" event.
This is caused by inadequate space reserved for various panel options. This is controlled by the Feature capacity level, which controls the amount of memory reserved for downstream devices, timezone control, local linkages, and other features within the controller.
A higher value reserves more room for these options while leaving less room for the cardholder database and event transaction buffer.
In the most cases, the default value of 3 should be left unchanged. This value will rarely need to be adjusted.
If free memory in the panel becomes low, flagged by a "Panel Free Memory Low" alarm, this value should be increased.
Note: Values less than 3 are not recommended. In OnGuard 2008 (6.0.148) or later, the Feature Capacity Level cannot be modified for LNL-3300 and LNL-2220 panels.
