How to remove the machine name ''FAILOVER'' on a system that is no longer clustered

How to remove the machine name "FAILOVER" on a system that is no longer clustered

Procedure Steps

If a server was once part of an NEC Cluster, the LS Communication Server may still be referenced as FAILOVER. You can check this by launching the communication server as an application. If the title bar reads FAILOVER instead of the server name then follow these steps:

Important:
Do not make this change if the server is still part of a failover system.

1) Click the Start button, then select Run and type regedit

2) Check the registry for the following entry:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Vinca.

3) Delete  the Vinca folder and restart the computer.

4) Start the communications server as an application.

5) Verify that the title bar displays the actual name of the computer running the LS Communications Server.
