Granted Access by Badge ID with Video Pop-up in Alarm Monitoring
Resolution
Step One: Modify current alarm in Alarm Definitions.
System Administration > Monitoring > Alarms > Alarm Definitions
- Select Relay Contact Activated in Alarm list.
- Click [Modify].
- Select the check boxes Display alarm and Active alarm.
- Click [OK].
Step Two: Configure Global I/O.
System Administration > Access Control > Global I/O
- Click [Add].
- On Global Linkage tab:
- Name the task.
- Choose Timezone.
- Always chosen in this screenshot.
- On Input Event tab:
- Click [Add].
- Under Device, select Reader.
- Under Event, select Access Granted.
- Enter the desired badge for access in the Badge Number field.
- Click [OK].
- On Output Action tab:
- Click [Add].
- Under Objects, select Device Output.
- Click [Next].
- Select Auxiliary Output 1 for the reader selected on the Input Event tab.
- Under Operation, select Pulse.
- Click [OK].
- Click [OK] on Global Linkage window.
- Click [Add].
Step Three: Configure Device – Camera Link.
System Administration > Video > Digital Video > Device – Camera Links
- Click [Add].
- Select Device:
- Under Device Type, select Reader Output.
- Under Search Device by Panel filter, select Access Panel.
- Select desired Reader AuxOut1.
- Click [Next].
- Select camera(s):
- Under Video Recorder, select the desired recorder.
- Select desired camera. Camera will appear in Linked Camera(s) table.
- Click [Save Link(s)].
- Click [Finish].
Step Four: Configure Alarm – Video Configuration.
System Administration > Video > Digital Video > Alarm – Video Configuration
- Select Relay Contact Activated in Alarm list.
- Click [Modify].
- Enable Automatically Launch Video Player on Alarm.
- Click [OK].
Step Five: Configure Alarm Monitoring.
- Enable the following options:
- Refresh Alarm Configuration
- Automatic Live Video Display
- Launch Video for Active Alarm
