Symptom
After a card is printed by a Fargo HDP5000 printer, the card may not be laminated.
1) On the computer where the HDP5000 printer is connected, open the Printing Properties for the printer.
2) Select the Advanced tab, then click [Printing Defaults].
3) Select the Lamination tab, then choose the desired lamination setting. By default, this is set to No Lamination.
Once these changes are saved, upon printing a card, an HDP5000 printer with an installed laminator will then properly laminate the card.

To enable lamination for a Fargo HDP5000 printer, follow the steps below.1) On the computer where the HDP5000 printer is connected, open the Printing Properties for the printer.
2) Select the Advanced tab, then click [Printing Defaults].
3) Select the Lamination tab, then choose the desired lamination setting. By default, this is set to No Lamination.
Once these changes are saved, upon printing a card, an HDP5000 printer with an installed laminator will then properly laminate the card.
