Can I install SQL Server on a Domain Controller using the .bat file?
Answer
No. The .bat file tries to use NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE automatically. The .bat file does not have the proper permission on a Domain Controller. SQL installation must be run manually by using the .exe file.
